In 2005, I exhibited a series of 10 wire torsos as part of my 4th Solo Exhibition She Show 2, in Martinique. When the work returned from the show, I started cutting the forms up and layering them. I then started to build heads onto the headless forms. This changed the work. Before, when they were headless, they had the feeling of a costume and were somehow more mysterious. Having the heads has made them more figurative, denser and more sculptural.
